Elena Fedosenko is an international professional artist and art teacher who was born in Russia. While living in Goa and enjoying its natural beauty, Elena could not ignore the other important part of surrounding life – the sacred cows. Along with painting these beautiful creatures, she observed their pain and real problems. As a result of seeing injured animals in need of medical treatment and a place for rehabilitation, Elena started volunteering in the local shelters and animal welfare organizations. The collaboration resulted in production of a calendar, with each month represented by unique cow painting, and all sales were donated to Goa animal welfare.
